The McQuery Group is a family real estate team at Redfin led by founder Macartney McQuery with Lori Bakken and Casey McQuery — three Washington-licensed brokers based in Seattle and Tacoma, WA, with more than 1,200 closings and $500 million in sales across the Seattle-to-Olympia corridor.

The McQuery Group began around a kitchen table. Lori Bakken, with decades of experience and hundreds of successful transactions, had already built a reputation across Western Washington. Her sons Macartney and Casey grew up watching her help families find their homes, so following in her footsteps was only natural.

Macartney formed the group after graduating from Washington State University with a vision of combining genuine relationships with sharp market strategy. Casey followed after Central Washington University, bringing a natural gift for communication and the kind of warmth that turns clients into lifelong friends.

Today the team has closed more than 1,200 deals and over half a billion dollars in sales across the Seattle-to-Olympia corridor. As Redfin agents, they pair modern tools with old-school relationship building — and treat every client like family.
