The McQuery Group began the way the best things do — around a kitchen table. Lori Bakken, with decades of real estate experience and hundreds of successful transactions, had already built a stellar reputation across Western Washington. When her sons Macartney and Casey grew up watching her help families find their dream homes, it was only natural that they'd follow in her footsteps.

Macartney was the first to jump in. After graduating from Washington State University, he saw an opportunity to bring something different to real estate — a team built on family values but powered by fresh energy and a relentless drive to do better for clients. He formed The McQuery Group with a vision of combining genuine relationships with sharp market strategy. Casey followed soon after, graduating from Central Washington University and bringing a natural gift for communication, and the kind of warmth that turns clients into lifelong friends. Together with their mom, the three became a force — a family team powered by complementary strengths and a shared commitment to excellence.

Today, the group has closed over 1,200 deals and over half a billion dollars in total sales volume. They serve the entire Western Washington corridor, from the neighborhoods of Seattle all the way south to Olympia and everywhere in between — including the Eastside (Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah), Tacoma, Kent, Renton, Auburn, Covington, Graham, Gig Harbor, Federal Way, and Maple Valley.
